Lineart by
Color and bg by :me. lol.
This is my first submission of ANYTHING in soooo long!! i hope everyone loves her drawing style (cuz i do!) and my decisions for coloring it! please comment!
haha it was only japanese 1... i wanted to take 2 this semester, but the commute back to city college would have sucked, plus it doesn't fit into my schedule. maybe next semester. I've been trying to learn outside of class, but it's a bit harder than i thought. no one's correcting me, so i don't know if i'm seriously butchering sentences or not. lol.
It would probably help if you went to the proffessor after class to ask for a little help. The professors won't go out of their way to help you, but if you put forth the effort to be there after the class is over asking for advice then they will (probably) not turn their backs on you. I couldn't really help you in the matter seeing as how I havent studied japanese all that much. I know someone online that you might try asking aswell. She is currently taking japanese two (I think) in Houston. She might be able to help you; it's slim, cause she's got a lot on her plate right now, but it couldn't hurt to try noteing her. She's Blanzeflor, she's also quite interesting to talk with also.
thank you so much!
I really like the coloring. I don't know how you were able to color an inked picture like this. usually color on ink drawings look bad because of the ink, but somehow...you managed and did a really amazing job. really. it's really beautiful. Thank you very very much!!!!!!!! ^^
i like the shadowing on the teddy bear. nice job on the hair too! oh and the transition between purple and pink is spiffy near the neck on the kimono...well actually the whole kimono looks like it took a while to do because of all those flowers...
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Featuring `ATrue's Literary Fundraiser, works from many Literature Groups on Deviantart aswell as Personal Choices and #Xpose-it's quiz night on the 26th March!
